Responsibilities
Assists visitors, patients, vendors or employees during hospital operating/visitor hours in accordance with Prime established policies and procedures. Creates a positive first impression for each individual who enters the hospital and maintains the safety of our patients, community and staff. Greets visitors, patients, vendors or employees and follows the outlined Prime established policies and procedures including utilizing Prime provided script for interactions. Notifies visitors in the event responses to the script do not meet established guidelines for access to the facility. Assists in ensuring no children under 16 will be permitted in the ICU (outside Emergency Department). Performs other duties as assigned or required, including visitor and patient wayfinding, participation in staff engagement activities, and patient experience-related projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Previous experience in office or receptionist roles.
- Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service experience preferred.
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $21.53. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering a wide range of factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
