Assistant Designer, Junior's Tops
Client Overview: Our client has a wide range of brands and expertise in private label production that have paved the way for a diverse collection of apparel. from Juniors and Women's to Children's and Men's clothing.
Position Overview: As The Assistant Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the design team on all tasks from concept through production hand off for Junior's Tops.
Responsibilities: • Assist in developing trend-right junior tops, including wovens, knits, and novelty pieces. • Create digital sketches, CADs, and presentation boards using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. • Support in preparing tech packs with detailed specifications and design callouts. • Conduct market and trend research to help inspire new collections. • Organize and track samples, fabric swatches, and trims. • Assist in fitting sessions and make revisions as needed. • Maintain design files and line sheets for each season.
Requirements: • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. • Eye for fashion trends and understanding of junior tops styles. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. • Attention to detail and willingness to learn. ________________________________________
