Creative Project Manager
will be responsible for managing the creative process from inception to completion for small to medium size projects. Deliverable types may include email, web, social, sales collateral, video, print, long/short form editorial content, and photography. The Creative Project Manager will consolidate and organize all relevant information and be the central point of contact on their projects. This role will help shape the scope of each project, develop an approach vetted by involved stakeholders, then manage efficient progress of creative work from briefing through production and completion.
Responsibilities:
Utilize creative problem solving skills to deliver results in a fast-moving, innovative environment
Participate in and help shape an evolving process rollout across team and larger marketing organization
Aspire toward owning large-scale projects and developing program management and operations acumen
Create, maintain and distribute status-report documents, including detailed project schedules, tracking all projects currently in progress; leads regular status meetings to discuss project status; updates team on any stakeholder revisions
Develop project plans and briefing documents that clearly outline deliverables, project approach, and milestones
Attend and lead briefings as needed, ensuring team members have a clear understanding of deliverables and timing
Bring clear and concise project requests to weekly resourcing meetings
Facilitates communication between team members to make sure deadlines are met; schedules internal and team creative reviews, ensuring team members are aware of next steps; follows up with written recaps
Route creative; copy docs, presentations, digital files, and other materials as necessary to appropriate team members for review, proofing, revisions and approval
Schedules debriefs with Account, Strategy, and Creative team members to discuss feedback/changes after client presentations and confirm next steps
Ensure operational systems (Wrike, SmartSheet, and DAM) are rigorously maintained
Requirements:
5+ years of project management or campaign production experience in marketing and sales
Experience working with creative teams (designers, copywriters, editors, etc.)
Experience managing creative projects: digital assets, website, social, email, video, etc
Experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite required
Experience working in a Project Management toola plus
