Position Overview
Join us as the CMO and Chief DTC Officer during a pivotal phase marked by recent public offerings and strategic acquisitions, including the notable addition of Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards in 2024. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive our marketing and brand strategies, with a strong focus on enhancing our direct-to-consumer operations encompassing retail tasting rooms and wine clubs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning:
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape and execute the company's strategic vision. Develop and implement forward-thinking marketing strategies grounded in market insights and trends.Marketing & Brand Positioning:
Lead the creation and execution of innovative campaigns that highlight our distinctive value proposition and position our portfolio brands as pinnacles of luxury wine.Product & Market Innovation:
Drive product development and market expansion initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and strategic marketing within the organization.External & Internal Communications:
Support the CEO in media engagements and internal communications, while managing brand positioning with industry stakeholders to bolster market presence and reputation.
QualificationsMore than 15 years of strategic marketing leadership experience, preferably in luxury lifestyle or beverage industries.Proven track record in driving growth, brand equity, and market positioning through innovative strategies.Deep expertise in customer acquisition and retention, with a focus on building brand loyalty through generational marketing.Strong business acumen with a data-driven approach to marketing ROI and performance analysis.Proficiency in digital marketing channels and technologies such as SEO, PPC ads, social media, and content marketing.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.Background in marketing, business, or related fields; MBA is highly desirable.
