The Digital Media Buyer is a contract position with the expectation of 40-hour weeks over a 3-month period with the potential for an extension or salaried employment. This position is responsible for campaign creation and optimization for our strategic media plans. Working closely with the Senior Media Planner, the Digital Media Buyer will set up and launch media buys, see plans through to completion and ensure that campaigns are optimized towards efficiency and effectiveness in achieving KPIs. The Digital Media Buyer also supports campaign tracking, and helping with pixel placement to ensure data is properly tracked and aggregated for campaign reporting.A great Digital Media Buyer fit for Campfire is someone who likes to stay on top of the latest media trends, technologies, and ad platforms and has a keen eye for detail in implementing media purchases. This person should enjoy working in a collaborative and fairly flat organizational setting. They should be highly self-motivated and comfortable having their voice heard. RESPONSIBILITIESWork collaboratively with integrated media team across traditional, digital, paid social and search (programmatic, e-commerce, influencers) to support the development and execution of digital media plans by helping to:Manage vendor relationships and traffic IOs with vendors as needed Make media purchases and be adept at all native platformsMonitor campaign pacing and analyze/report on campaign performance with recommendations on inventory, channel, and creative shiftsManage influencer relationships from discovery through deliveryCollaborate with account, production, and data/analytics teams for creative rotation and production team for deadlines and specs, along with media team for proper campaign set up and trackingParticipate in regular internal and client meetingsProactively bring new ideas to solve complex business challenges through creative media solutions, both big and smallSKILLS & EXPERIENCE2-4 years agency experience buying across social platforms/programmatic digitalStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to maintain and meet client deadlinesExperience managing and reconciling a budget with Microsoft Excel/Google SheetsIn-depth knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, Snap Ads, and Reddit AdsExperience working with influencers directly or through a third-party providerCONTRACT-TO-HIRE TERMSThe initial term for this contract is 3-month and at the end of that contract period, we can have a discussion about transition to a salaried, full-time position based on team fit, performance, and need.
