Employees may purchase additional coveragePublic Loan Forgiveness ProgramState tuition waiversABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThis is responsible work performing a variety of secretarial, administrative support, and clerical duties for a State of Florida Guardian ad Litem Office.ABOUT THE WORKThe Administrative Specialist II will:Establish and maintain a comprehensive office filing system, order and maintain supplies, answer multi-line phone systems, and perform other clerical duties as needed.Establish and maintain working relationships with employees, volunteers, state court personnel, vendors, judges, non-judicial officers, and the general public.Work independently and exercise discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.Work is performed under general supervision.ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Knowledge of computer software applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
