The ability to communicate and build relationships with all levels of leadership is essential. The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) will collaborate with the Vice President of Agency (VPA), Sales Leaders (SLs), Field Implementation Managers, business partners, and other Marketing peers to proactively and strategically support the development and execution of desired behaviors.Provides expertise and assists Marketing and Agency leadership in the planning and execution of marketing plans, including conducting consulting, measurement, and reporting of results to assigned business areasUnderstands the impact of agent marketing tactics and sales funnel pipeline health to support profitable growthDrives engagement in Marketing programs and activities including supporting local agent branding efforts and the Digitally Enabled AgentAnalyzes market conditions including demographics, competitors, and customers, assists Marketing and Agency leadership to anticipate trends and offer marketing solutionsActs as a voice for State Farm Agents by advocating for agent and field partner needs within project workAssists business partners and project teams with the planning, creation and/or production of marketing communications and/or supporting materials to implement marketing projects and programsAnticipates, recognizes, and solves problems that are critical to the overall success of marketing tactic executionRecognized as an authority and expert resource for resolutions of complex or unique business problems associated with enterprise, marketing and sales programsUnder limited direction and supervision, works within broad limits and authority on highly complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge
Qualifications:Required Skills:Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilitiesVirtual Relationship Building and Collaboration: Connect with others effectively within a virtual environmentData & Analysis: Ability to quickly research, synthesize, analyze and prioritize Market Area data from various sources to understand specific Market Area goals, nuances, opportunities and challengesDigitally savvy: Strong knowledge of digital marketing elements and the importance of State Farms digital presenceTechnical Proficiency: Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Microsoft TeamsDesired Skills:Prior experience working with insurance agentsCRM expertise, including the ability to utilize dashboards to analyze the performance of a territory or specific agentKnowledge of the California insurance marketAdditional Information:A work sample may be requested as part of the interview process.
