Requirements / Qualifications
- Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, or Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential
The Santa Clara Adult Education (SCAE) Skills Plus Program serves adult students with a neurological impairment, such as a stroke, to develop, recover, or maintain communication skills. The overall learning outcome is to help students have independent, productive and satisfying lives. Experience working with stroke survivors is preferable, but not mandatory.
Work Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, up to 15 hours of instruction and prep time per week.
