Futura Systems, a subsidiary of Meridian Cooperative, provides enterprise utility GIS solutions to hundreds of electric membership cooperatives, electric municipal systems, and other utility providers across the United States. We excel at employing the ArcGIS foundation to develop mapping, staking, and outage management tools that deliver powerful, user-friendly functionality. Summary: We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer with a proven track record of building enterprise applications using Angular and .Net Core. The Individual will be self-motivated, demonstrate a constant commitment to excellence, and have experience in the design, development, testing, and deployment of object-oriented web-based applications using Angular and web services.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop front-end and back-end web architecture using Angular.
2. Develop and maintain Web APIs and back-end services using .NET Core.
3. Design and develop databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
4. Collaborate with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, and develop content criteria or solutions.
5. Manage a team of developers — assign work, review code, and provide feedback.
6. Actively participate in requirements analysis, review, estimation, problem analysis, resolution, and design documentation.
7. Interpret business requirements into technical specifications.
8. Independently deliver all assigned tasks on time with high quality.

Education and Experience:

1. Experience in building high-performance, scalable web applications.
2. Minimum 10 years of development experience with Angular or React JS for front-end and NodeJS for back-end.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
4. Experience with C#, ASP.NET Web API, and SignalR.
5. Extensive experience with the .NET Framework and the Microsoft Ecosystem.
6. Experience with messaging queuing systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka is a plus.
7. Experience with Agile software development.
8. Proficient understanding of Git.
9. Ability to independently manage tasks across multiple projects to meet deadlines.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
12. Highly organized, independent, effective at multitasking, and able to interact with individuals from multiple disciplines.

7. Paid Time Off: Eligible to begin accrual from date of hire; accrual amount based on years of service. Beginning accrual rate equivalent to 22 days per year. 9 holidays which include the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve. Up to 240 hours of PTO can roll over to the following year.
8. Volunteer Time: 8 hours per year
9. Retirement: Robust 401K. Following one year of eligible service, the Company contributes in two ways: (1) match of 100% of each dollar you contribute on the first five percent (5%) of eligible compensation, and (2) Employer basic contribution of 4% of base salary (with increases in basic contribution percentage based on years of service). Employees are 100% vested in Company funded contributions from the date they enter the plan.
