What you will do
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the long-term UX vision and strategy, aligning with business objectives.
- Establish design principles, guidelines, and best practices to drive user-centric experiences.
- Ensure UX is a differentiating factor for GEP Quantum, enhancing adoption and customer satisfaction.
Global Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and mentor a global team of UX professionals, fostering collaboration and growth.
- Implement design processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and innovation.
- Build a culture of data-driven decision-making, integrating UX best practices into product development.
User Research, Journey Mapping & Insights
- Oversee user research activities, leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to understand user behaviors, pain points, and needs.
- Map user journeys across different personas, ensuring seamless and intuitive experiences.
- Use insights to inform design decisions and validate UX enhancements.
- Build a customer feedback loop to ensure continuous UX improvements.
AI-Driven UX Innovation & Design Execution
- Lead AI-powered UX improvements, such as predictive UI, automation, chatbots, and intelligent recommendations.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to test and refine concepts.
- Champion usability testing and A/B experimentation to drive continuous UX enhancements.
- Ensure intuitiveness is the core UX principle, simplifying complex procurement workflows to maximize efficiency and engagement.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and AI/data science teams to deliver seamless UX improvements.
- Communicate the value of UX investment to executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Drive customer-first design thinking across teams, advocating for usability, accessibility, and innovation.
Usability Testing & Performance Evaluation
- Develop and implement usability testing strategies to measure and validate UX effectiveness.
- Analyze user feedback, behavioral data, and success metrics to drive continuous iteration.
- Establish key UX KPIs, such as adoption rates, efficiency gains, and customer satisfaction.
Industry Awareness & Thought Leadership
- Stay ahead of UX and AI trends, bringing innovative solutions to GEP Quantum.
- Represent GEP in industry discussions, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.
What you should bring
- 15+ years of experience in UX, product design, or user research, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global UX teams.
- Strong track record of developing and executing UX strategies that drive product differentiation and business impact.
- Expertise in AI-driven UX enhancements, automation, and intelligent interfaces.
- Deep knowledge of user research methodologies, usability testing, and behavioral analytics.
- Extensive experience in mapping user journeys across different personas, ensuring seamless digital experiences.
- Strong knowledge of UX/UI design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and usability heuristics.
- Ability to simplify complex enterprise workflows into an intuitive, user-friendly experience that maximizes efficiency and engagement.
- Experience working in SaaS platforms, enterprise software, or procurement and supply chain industries (preferred).
- Proven ability to influence C-level executives, advocating for UX investment and innovation.
