We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our team in Edmonds, WA. This position is responsible for creating engaging visual solutions that support and elevate the Rick Steves' Europe brand across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, welcomes stakeholder feedback, and loves the challenge of turning ideas into engaging visuals.
This is a full-time, 40 hours/week (hybrid remote) position with full benefits. Travel is not required for this role.
Responsibilities:Conceptualizes, designs, and produces a wide variety of visual solutions for digital and print media, including social media graphics, website assets, e-commerce, email marketing, streaming platforms, mobile apps, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, packaging, signage, and other materials, ensuring cohesive layouts and creative concepts across various platformsCollaborates with the creative team, brand marketing, and other stakeholders to develop design concepts, effectively incorporate feedback to refine and iterate designs, and ensure final deliverables align with project goalsEnsures all designs align with our brand voice and guidelines and maintain brand consistency across platformsManages multiple projects concurrently and prioritizes tasks effectively to meet deadlines and ensure high quality resultsFormats and retouches imagesHelps maintain our library of assets and templates, using our digital asset management (DAM) toolsWorks with digital team on testing and execution of emails and website landing pagesKeeps current with the latest industry developments and technology to enhance efficiency and improve design outputWorks independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to finding solutionsOther related duties as assignedQualifications:
3+ years' experience as a graphic designer or similar roleBachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related fieldA strong portfolio showcasing creative and visually appealing design work, demonstrating solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniquesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing tools, and production technologies including digital/video format standards, html/css, browser compatibility, UX/UI, wireframes, and social media platformsFluent with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)Excellent communication skills, open to feedback, and ability to collaborate effectivelyDetail oriented with good time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesExperience with project management software, such as Wrike or AsanaEuropean travel experience and knowledge of Rick Steves' Europe products, a plusBenefits:
