Summary:
The Locale-Headwear & Apparel Graphic Designer is responsible for leading and executing creative graphic designs that inspire and captivate the consumer while creating a consistent brand representation across all Locale Product Categories. This role will develop creative ideas and concepts to suit L2 Brands' business objectives for the Locale brand. This position co-reports to the VP of Apparel Merchandising and VP of Headwear Merchandising.

Duties And Responsibilities
Lead designer on Locale graphic projects, conceptualizing visual elements, managing the design process from ideation to delivery.Design relevant and engaging custom and stock art graphics for all Locale product categories, focusing primarily on the Destination channel, that are aligned with overall seasonal direction while incorporating new decoration techniques for each season.Manage and evolve the current Locale “speed mock” process.Provide support for collateral requirements in graphic design projects, including but not limited to creating sell sheets, graphic books, mood boards, and art mocks for catalogs.Stay updated on industry graphic trends, techniques, and inspiration.Play a lead role in the art creation for samples by working cross departmentally with Merchandising and Production for tradeshows and SMS kits.Maintain a positive attitude. Act as leader and set example while continuing strong working relationships with cross-functional team members (Product Development, Purchasing, Merchandising, Marketing, Sales, Production Art, Production).Collaborate with Merchandising, Production and Production Art on graphic related sampling and testing as well as stock art set up.Assist in training Production Artist on full custom art templates and headwear tech packs.Proactively manage art development deadlines by design calendar.Extensive knowledge and understanding of Locale’s various product categories and styles.Present and communicate graphic vision to senior leadership.

Required Education/Experience/Skills
4-year college degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field4+ years of Graphic Design experienceProficient in Adobe Creative Suite
