Allianz Personal Broker have a new opportunity for an Events Marketing Executive covering our office in Brentwood on part time, job share basis (21 hours per week Wednesday-Friday).
The role involves supporting the delivery of the Allianz Personal Broker omni-channel events strategy. This includes bringing innovation and creativity to a program of events, such as conferences & exhibitions, corporate hospitality, technical events, and sponsorship opportunities. The individual will ensure that the events support the overall business strategy, help build brand awareness, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
We’ll need you to:
Deliver and drive forward the Allianz events strategy including supporting the Marketing Manager (Creative & Events) in the development of this. Establishing Allianz as a leading market player and ‘must have’ insurer within the broker market.
Deliver end-to-end events that make our stakeholders feel special and are a memorable experience aimed at developing strong relationships.
Manage the events campaigns on a CRM system, including tracking event attendees, improving data quality and monitor, evaluate and report on engagement metrics to help deliver targeted events.
Track, record and ensure all events are kept up to date on CRM and other relevant platforms, in order to provide data to Group Financial Crime on request and for end-of-year reporting.
Ensure all events are aligned with our governance policies, working with compliance and health and safety, and writing risk assessments to ensure regulatory adherence.
Drive innovation by keeping up to date with technology, industry & competitor activities (both insurance and conference, exhibitions & events) with a view to making recommendations, improvements and implementing new ideas.
Track, record and monitor the events budgets, including invoice management.
Proactively monitor and review external agencies & suppliers to help identify areas where possible savings can be made to get the best value, results and consistency for Allianz.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and other key stakeholders to understand the business plans and deliver effective events.
Be an ‘Events Champion’ and go to person within the business, sharing innovation, insight and best practice.
Be a Brand ambassador for Allianz, always focussed on how to improve the Allianz experience for our stakeholders and customers.
Be passionate about sustainability, exploring new ways to ensure our events are as sustainable as possible and aligned with our Allianz brand values.
Professionally represent & actively promote Allianz at conferences, exhibitions and events.
Project manage and deliver other ad-hoc marketing projects and activities as required.
Deputise for Marketing Manager (Creative & Events) in their absence.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in a marketing & events role.
Willingness to travel within the UK, including some overnight stays.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and copywriting skills.
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Effective liaison and negotiation skills with suppliers and agencies.
Ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders.
Confidence to take ownership of their key areas of responsibility and deputise for the Marketing Manager (Creative & Events).
Innovative, creative, goal-oriented and financially astute.
Professional demeanour, team player, and willing to contribute to achieving team objectives.
Desirable Skills
Qualified to A-Level standard, degree desirable or relevant professional qualification.
Use of Salesforce or Marketing Cloud.
