We are looking for someone who is a creative strategist with a strong pulse on the cultural landscape and who has led channel strategy, audience growth, and influencer relationships. This person will drive our brand presence and impact across all of our social channels in a way that drives distinction and brand love. They will also scale our approach to promotion of content on social to conversation and drive viewership to Tubi. They will work cross-functionally across our Comms, B2B Marketing, Content, and Product teams. The ideal candidate is obsessed with growth hacking new platforms, deeply understands all the nuances of social community building and lives and breathes in the intersection of culture and content.This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA.Responsibilities:
Drive innovation across all Tubi social channels, remaining up to date on new technology, platforms, macro trends, and competitor activities to apply to strategic plans. Identify new trends to spark innovative content development for organic growth.Expand the fan base across the brand’s owned social channels by attracting new followers and transforming current followers into brand advocates. Boosting fan engagement across Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, and Discord.Identify titles that can lean into real-time cultural trends vs. planned calendar moments. Put together plans that leverage talent and evangelize the fan community to do the promotion for us.Devise unique ways to put Tubi in the social zeitgeist and partner with influential individuals and brands to drive efficacy.Mentor and develop a strong internal and external team (agency support) across social community management, creative development, and talent management.Standardize tracking, tools, and measurement methodologies in partnership with the analytics team.Collaborate with the International team to share best practices and advise on approach in our new non-US markets.Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years work experience in social strategy and execution for a global brand either at an agency or internally at a brand and 5 years of management experience.Well versed in the digital landscape and emerging platforms with deep knowledge or experience marketing to Gen-Z & Millennial audiences.
