Instructional DesignerLocation:
Dunton, Essex and Daventry, Northamptonshire. This is a hybrid role which will require a minimum of 3-4 days in the office and you must be willing to travel to Dunton, Essex and Daventry, Northants with some travel to Cologne.Working hours:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm; however, flexibility is required.Annual Salary:

Instructional Designer
in the UK, you’ll be a part of creating and delivering amazing support while enjoying the satisfaction of being part of a unique culture.What You’ll Be Doing:Analyze training needs for client-based programs.Work closely with clients to assess, develop, and implement training materials.Design and develop new hire, cross-training, and other training materials using ADDIE and other curriculum development methodologies.Evaluate and administer traditional and eLearning training solutions using various multi-media formats and authoring tools.Assess content development effectiveness to enhance training content as needed.Partner with Operations, Clients, and all other stakeholders to build knowledge checks, assessments, and training recommendations when needed.During a Typical Day, You’ll:Design, Development, and Implementation (60%):Design and develop learning objectives and outcomes.Partner with internal and external clients to create and edit training materials.Select the most effective instructional methods for delivery.Design and develop facilitator and participant material for new hire, continuous, and cross-training.Design practical application scenarios.Develop and maintain knowledge artifacts for training and production.Conduct Train-The-Trainer (TTT) sessions.Maintain source materials and final content in a shared location (SharePoint).Project and Program Management (20%):Develop timelines and project plans for development.Partner with customers to identify training needs.Schedule and lead regular project meetings.Provide project status updates and address risks with the Training Supervisor.Conduct post-project analysis to determine the quality of implementation.Training Analysis/Evaluation (20%):Conduct Front End Analysis (FEA) to identify curriculum objectives.Analyze operational performance to identify knowledge gaps.Develop training action plans based on performance needs.Measure the effectiveness of training and modify content when gaps are identified.Develop evaluations of content linked to performance objectives.What You Bring to the Role:Education:University Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning/Training, Graphic Arts, or related fields) and relevant curriculum design experience required, or a combination of education and experience.ISD Certifications are highly desirable.Certifications in design programs (Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, etc.) are highly desirable.Experience:Mid-level professional training and development experience.Practiced Instructional or Curriculum Design preferred.Call Center experience is preferred.What You Can Expect:Life Assurance 4 x annual salary, contributory pension scheme, private medical and comprehensive travel insurance for you and family.25 days Annual leave to start, increasing by 1 day on the anniversary of start date for the first 5 years.Discounted dental scheme, discounts on brand new vehicles, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Free eye test with money towards new prescription glasses.About Percepta:Established in 2000, Percepta has contact centers across the globe that deliver a frictionless customer experience to our clients.
