Job Description:
Surveying and documentation of existing site conditions
Assist in the creation and maintenance of construction drawing sets
Set up preliminary drawing files in AutoCAD
Create, detail, and modify drawing sets and associated schedules (FF&E)
Create demolition plan, floor plans, reflected ceiling and electrical plans, elevations, sections and details
Utilize AutoCAD and 3D Software to create drawings, renderings, etc.
Manage placement of FF&E Orders with vendors and subcontractors
Format client presentations in Adobe InDesign to communicate concepts, design intent and drawings
Source architectural materials/FF&E including stone, tile, wallcovering, paint, plumbing fixtures, door hardware, lighting, appliances, furnishings, and fabrics
Assist the Senior Designer/Procurement Coordinator with preparation of client proposal packages in Studio Designer
Manage vendors to obtain quotes, specifications, and samples
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
5+ years of experience
Experience with high-end residential projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, and SketchUp
Familiar with and able to run with procurement calls as this firm handles all furnishings in-house
If there is an interest in marketing, would have the opportunity to assist with social media and taking project photos on site
