Brand & Strategy Development
Analyze and clarify strengths and weaknesses of the restaurant brand
Build a comprehensive marketing plan and budget
Staff and resource planning
Assign goals and responsibilities for each team member
Create and maintain systems to track results
Identify and understand customer metrics and segmentation (age, geography, first time or repeat, party size, etc.)
Customer Comprehension & Communication
Maintain good communication with marketing and restaurant teams
Build and continue positive relations with partner restaurants and partner PR agencies
Meet with CEO weekly
Consumer Promotion
Ideation, creation and scheduling of activity calendar
Design on premise holidays, events, special menus, festivals, guest visits, etc.
Plan off premise appearance at events, festivals, charity functions, etc.
Outreach to concierges, event planners, key executive assistants, selected businesses, competing private dining departments
Public Relations
Prioritize and respond to press inquiries
Pursue publicity and articles for targeted aspects of brand
Seek helpful reviews of company restaurants
Engage and maintain relationships with key press
Digital Marketing - Proactive
Plan and oversee development of content/news which can be used in all marketing channels and tactical avenues
Improve search engine optimization
Maintain and seek improvements to the website(s)
Oversee email marketing
Supervise Digital Manager
Social Media
Work with consultants and operations to improve social media ratings
Determine our KPIs
Track and impact presence with reservation sources (like Open Table)
Track and impact presence and activity on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
Track and impact presence in Yelp, Zagat, Time Out, Trip Advisor, etc.
Supervise Social Media/Digital manager
Company Brand Management
Identify strengths and marketing advantages of the Group, its individual restaurants and CEO for exposure in all marketing channels
Create brand intimacy, emotional resonance and storytelling
Maintain relationships with existing strategic partners and develop new alliances.
Provide input and ideas to ensure that the CEO's time, travels and activity have an ever-enhanced impact on the company's goals and objectives.
Advertising
Determine appropriate advertisement outlets for each brand (print, taxi, radio, web banner ads, Facebook)
Establish systems to determine ROI of advertisements
