Job Description
Focus Features is seeking a Manager, Creative Advertising, reporting to the VP, Creative Advertising. Essential Responsibilities
- Assist the VP in creating audio-visual materials for feature film releases, including trailers, TV spots, featurettes, collateral marketing, and radio spots.
- Coordinate with the Finishing department to meet deadlines from initial creative concepts to campaign launch across various media.
- Maintain organized asset files, including A/V materials, scripts, transcripts, and strategy documents.
- Support trafficking of materials for guilds (MPA, DGA, WGA) compliance, legal reviews, and approvals from talent and senior management.
- Handle formal correspondence and memos to filmmakers and executives.
- Contribute to creative strategy, copywriting, and positioning efforts.
- Share assets between departments as campaigns develop.
- Manage meetings, agendas, and notes; disseminate research findings.
- Collaborate with publicity to monitor film reviews and media coverage.
- Work with the Music team to clear and license music cues, negotiate prices, and monitor budgets.
- Track budgets, communicate with finance, and process invoices and expenses.
- Build effective partnerships with creative agencies involved in campaigns.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in creative advertising at a major studio, network, streamer, or advertising vendor.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of 360 campaign processes, including A/V finishing workflows.
- Familiarity with editing, motion graphics, industry terminology, and asset management.
- Experience with material submission for clearance review.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Requirements:
- This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000, bonus eligible.
