Working as a Marketing Specialist at St. Mary's Bank you will have an opportunity to execute marketing events, manage social media, and support the business plan. This role involves assisting with campaign management, budget coordination, marketing communications, and vendor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and publish engaging content on SMB social media channels (Facebook/Instagram/Tik Tok) to enhance brand awareness and improve the member experience.
- Respond to social media inquiries and maintain a content calendar.
- Track, analyze, and report the success of social campaigns and initiatives.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of public relations events to include internal event communications, ensuring event staff are in place, business area branded premium item purchases and support of community outreach efforts.
- Own the budget creation and allocation for business events, sponsorships, and premium items.
- Marketing contact for retail sales and business development initiatives to coordinate marketing campaigns and project support, merchandising, materials inventory and distribute marketing materials.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or equivalent marketing experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing, event coordination and social media experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions for social channels and marketing campaigns.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all marketing materials.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Problem Solving: Capable of finding a solution to difficult or complex issues.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated capability in handling multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and expertise in marketing software and tools, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools. Basic knowledge of Canva and Sprout Social is desirable.
- Flexibility: Adjust to events schedule as needed and within reasonable notice.
