We are planning a spin-off of NBCUniversal's cable networks and digital assets into a new publicly traded company, expected to complete in 2025.
The Account Director, Small & Medium Business Growth (SMBG) role focuses on acquiring new clients for the CTV ecosystem via the Universal Ads self-service platform. This position involves managing relationships with clients and media agencies, collaborating across NBCU & Comcast Advertising, and leveraging expertise in digital and performance media to drive success. The role reports to the Vice President, SMBG.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive demand for Universal Ads Platform among performance brands and agencies
- Become an expert on Universal Ads products and communicate value propositions
- Onboard and nurture SMB advertisers to maximize revenue and satisfaction
- Execute sales strategies, including prospecting, outreach, and client meetings
- Gather customer feedback to enhance offerings and convert needs into sales
- Monitor sales metrics and report progress regularly
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales packages and strategies
- Build relationships within NBCU & Comcast Advertising for cohesive market strategies
Basic Requirements
- 5+ years in advertising sales, with experience in digital video
- Strong connections within the performance agency sector
- Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close sales
- Self-motivated with team collaboration skills
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
- Strong communication and project management abilities
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking
Additional Details
This hybrid role requires working from the office at least three days per week. Compensation ranges from $95,000 to $170,000, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and discounts.
