Advertising Sales Representative
The Minot Daily News is seeking a Multi-Media Sales Account Representative. This position focuses on developing revenue from new advertisers and growing revenue from existing advertisers. This position is ideal for those looking for an opportunity to help local businesses succeed in their marketing efforts.
Primary responsibilities include:
providing advertising services to assigned accounts and all business prospects within a defined sales territory
services include advertising in the Minot Daily News, Trading Post and Pierce County Tribune and their companion websites
a full suite of digital marketing solutions
specialty publications/programs
setting appointments
sales and service of existing accounts into all publications and products
prospecting and new business development
scheduling of all advertising as ordered, proofing of advertising
customer relationship management functions
Qualifications include:
the ability to multi-task and work efficiently under tight deadlines
results oriented and high achiever
positive attitude
attention to detail and high level of accountability
strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
self-starter who can set and manage priorities
communicate effectively with peers, superiors and customers
basic computer knowledge and typing skills
valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation
Compensation:
Base salary, plus commission
Mileage reimbursement
Health, dental and vision insurance
Paid time off
Sick leave
