Job Description
The video producer works as part of the storytelling team to capture and edit video and still photography with a focus on post-production editing of video as well as graphic animation for video. This position requires advanced post-production skills working in the Adobe editing suite, including color correction and animation. A demonstrated background in graphic design and type animation is required in addition to proficiency in filming.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Create video and other digital content with a high degree of multimedia and/or visualization skill, including coordinating photo and video shoots as needed.
- Utilizes post-production expertise in the editing and producing of video for storytelling, including feature-length and short form digital stories.
- Prepares and packages videos for delivery to media outlets.
- Meet with clients, serving as a consultant in determining the best creative approach to meet project goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in media arts, film, communications, or related degree or equivalent professional work experience. At least one (1) year of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters’ Degree media arts, film, communications, or related degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Pay Rate
The proposed salary range for this position is $19.38 to $24.70. The salary negotiated at the time of offer will be commensurate with education and experience while also considering internal equity.
