The Associate Marketing Manager, VIP Audience is responsible for engaging our VIP buy-side audiences (channel partners) by managing the execution of multi-channel marketing programs via email marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, database development, lead generation, etc. This self-starter will also work alongside fellow marketers to help craft content for placement across various marketing channels, build and create marketing assets such as ads, brochures, emails, etc., and help build and maintain the content on our event websites using various content management systems.
We're seeking a motivated, energetic marketer to help drive awareness, create demand and convert target audiences for its event and awards brands.
This role is able to be worked remote within the US.

Day-to-day Responsibilities
Help to define the proposition, identify the target VIP prospects and develop a plan of targeting, outreach and retention for those guests
Test strategies to optimize effectiveness of outreach and to evaluate the proposition on a running basis, to feed this information back to production/audience marketing.
Create a project timeline inclusive of acquisition targets and contracted deliverables
Coordinate and collaborate with production, sales, operations, client and audience marketing to drive registrations, information feedback, and delivery of VIP proposition
Develop long term relationships with award winners and VIP prospects – improve overall event buyside numbers by leveraging contacts, etc. for event attendance, awards galas and more
Work closely with prospect marketers to grow VIP level audience, while improving engagement among existing VIP community and award winners
Monitor, capture, and report meaningful, relevant data and provide analysis to be used in marketing, sales, and content development
Contribute to the marketing department to implement new marketing tactics and strategic plans
Support the marketing team with ad hoc requests and projects as needed
Maintains a best practice marketing environment, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes Informa Tech’s Marketing Excellence tools and approach.
Qualifications
Around 3-4 years of work experience in events, media and/or digital marketing with a solid understanding of integrated marketing principles
Ability to manage multiple workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience crafting and writing marketing copy
Strong project management skills and dedication to quality
Analytics and marketing performance knowledge
Service-oriented “can do” attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate with others
Proficiency working with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, standard business tools/networks, and the ability to quickly learn new software/platforms
Email marketing experience (writing, building, and deploying emails) and knowledge of segmentation, and behavioral targeting
Some travel may be required
The pay range for this position is $56,250 - $62,500 depending on experience
