Grant Writing Coordinator Role And Responsibilities
The Grant Writing Coordinator will be a resourceful and results-oriented person that can work very well independently on researching and investigating grant opportunities, writing grant applications, and responding in a timely manner to all secured grants for the organization. This person will need to have a passion to move operational opportunities forward to support the organization's mission and goals. He/she will be responsible for leading a comprehensive grant management program. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
This position will work closely with many different areas and with different people inside and outside of the organization. The Grant Writing Coordinator will need good organization skills and follow through on grant project updates throughout the completion of the grant period.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable for this position as well as past grant writing experiences. A degree in philanthropy, business management, marketing, communications, fundraising management, or non-profit management preferred. Previous health care industry experiences would be beneficial. Certification as a CFRE or ACFRE desirable, but not required.

- Strong financial acumen, as well as organizational and strategic planning skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, MS Teams, and potentially grant management software programs.
