Position Purpose
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for leading, directing and contributing to the overarching design and implementation of creative marketing projects with heavy emphasis in social media. This role will help to lead and drive social forward concepts as well as holistic, on-brand concepts that are omni channel. They will contribute to the creative team’s design work to improve, and implement the look, feel, and function of marketing efforts; directly affecting the success of the brand’s consumer awareness and consideration.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead Graphic Designer in support of consumer product launches, promotional campaigns, social content, and in store displays.
Serve as key part of the inhouse Creative Team (Designers, Writers, Production) to establish the visual brand vision, and design strategies for the internal Client within all channels.
Elevate the overall creative aspect of the Company and the team with intuitive, mature approach to understanding and deploying great results-driven design and communication.
Actively contribute to creative brainstorming and though ideation sessions as well as collaborate with other creatives including web
Meet with Channel Owners, Project Managers and the creative process specialist to help define and determine project parameters.
Presents the work during Creative Reviews by effectively explaining design rationale, process and methodologies of the design communications.
Interfaces with Marketing, Merchandising, Strategy, and IT Departments
Demonstrates consistent leadership as a key representative of the Creative Team.
Supports and protects the Company brand and brand guidelines in all digital initiatives.
Stays up to date with design, functionality, trends and systems.
Identifies new technologies and methodologies that will benefit short- and long-term department goals.
Utilizes new and existing content into omni-channel resources for end users.
Enhances or creates style guides for all components of the brand.
Collaborates and helps lead other Graphic Designers and writers on the team.
Creates new and exciting content to enhance the visual experience.
Performs other design duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
5+ years working as an art director or senior graphic designer in an agency or corporate environment preferably designing digital content for social media platforms.
Design Skills: Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Figma design experience preferred.
BA/BS in related field required. Please include portfolio upon submission.
