Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in art, design, themed entertainment, theater, or interior design with proven experience as a show set designer in the creative development of immersive spacesExperience in theme park development, theatrical experience, and or hospitality related designStrong portfolio of theme park, theatrical required, or hospitality related designAbility to hand sketch concepts, fully design elevations via 2D/3D softwareAnalytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills with knowledge in a wide range of building codes, regulations, building systems, facility integration, safety and fire/egress
Preferred Qualifications:Theme park development and design package experienceSoftware knowledge in Revit, AutoCad, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam, and Microsoft SuiteWorking knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, 3DsMax, SketchUp, and 3D rendering in general
Travel Required:Less than 10%
Work Hours:
The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
