You will run the communications program and focus on several aspects of an overall communication strategy: task management, business newsletters, store to corporate feedback, uphold communication quality, setup reporting and create standards for content management. You will interact closely with the business team and identify/manage critical projects that improve productivity, increase capacity, and drive efficiency improvements for Operations.
Key job responsibilities
Review and publish communications for routine and new initiatives. Setup mechanisms to scale this process.Create and maintain processes for SOP and content review.Setup training to improve writing quality for store deliverables.Maintain internal content management system and task management system.Setup review process for upcoming changes with the relevant stakeholders.
About the team Amazon Go is a new kind of convenience store with no lines and no checkout - you just grab and go! Customers simply enter the store, take what they want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go! No lines, no checkout. (No, seriously.) This role will be a part of Central operations team, supporting day to day operations for our stores.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of program or project management experience.3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.Experience working cross functionally with business, HR, finance and support teams.Excellent written and oral communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of operational and/or retail management experience.3+ years of change management experience.Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
