ABOUT TRAILBORN GRAND CANYON
Our Trailborn Grand Canyon hotel is located in Williams, Arizona, the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon," on the historic Route 66. The hotel features 96 guest rooms, a southwestern steakhouse restaurant and bar, a large beer hall-style events space, and outdoor gathering spaces including a pool and firepit.

ABOUT OUR ROLE
This is a full-time, seasonal, on-site role for a Programming & Marketing Coordinator. This person will be responsible for managing events, assisting with event sales, coordinating with vendors, capturing content for social media, and executing on local marketing campaigns.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
Work closely with our corporate Director of Partnerships & Experiences to execute on guest programming and special events at Trailborn Grand Canyon. Examples include ticketed concerts, movie nights, bingo nights, private events, and line dancing events. Manage external partner communication and ongoing scheduling of experiences. Help to source and contact local partners to lead experiences (e.g. dance teacher, art teacher) Work closely with our group sales manager to organize private events for groups, including preparation and updating of banquet event orders (BEOs) Partner with our Brand Marketing & Social Media Manager to capture photo & video content onsite for our social channels (ranging from events to nature shots to on-site programming) Support with local marketing, including editing flyer templates and distributing locally Update digital and printed programming calendars and collateral to make sure guests know about all the programming and events happening onsite Stay up-to-date on what is going on in Williams and the Grand Canyon area - events, activities, new businesses openings Keep experience information and schedule up to date on the Trailborn website through Way software tool Develop an understanding of the key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the role, and help execute programs and onsite marketing to achieve these goals (e.g. 20% of guests participating in programming, guest satisfaction with programming) Continuously collect guest feedback and sentiment regarding existing programming, and articulate informed recommendations derived from that feedback QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred 3+ years of experience with event planning or event management in hospitality preferred Excellent verbal and communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and the ability to organize others Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail, with a high bar for design and quality Problem solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations, address complaints and find solutions promptly Customer oriented attitude, exhibiting a friendly, professional demeanor Proficiency with digital tools such as Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack, Outlook Calendar & Email, Opera Cloud Graphic design skills a plus (Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to remain upright continuously on a firm surface for an 8-10-hour shift. Must be able to move at least 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without another person's aid. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. SCHEDULE
Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality- on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
