Marketing Operations ManagerOne of The Sage Group’s top clients is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager. The client is a leading technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products that include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, and software.Key Responsibilities:
Request and Process Optimization:
Focus on optimizing process flows, prioritizing and triaging requests, and effectively tracking them. This role emphasizes process improvement over automation.Analytics and Insights:
Utilize reporting skills to monitor and track marketing requests, providing valuable insights to stakeholders. This includes knowledge of pivot table function (Vlookup is a plus).Program Management and Scaling:
Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively manage and prioritize requests from various stakeholders.Intake and Processing:
Manage the intake of bug requests, small enhancements, and copy changes, ensuring they are accurately processed and categorized.Prioritization:
Prioritize strategically aligned project requests based on a deep understanding of client priorities, commitments, and capabilities.Stakeholder Management:
Manage stakeholder requests, small projects, and communications, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.Process Automation:
Identify opportunities to automate processes and streamline workflows to increase efficiency.Ticket Definition:
Ensure that tickets are clearly defined by proactively communicating with clients across the organization to gather necessary information.Ticket Routing:
Efficiently route tickets to program teams, guiding requesters on follow-up for additional information as needed.Vendor Oversight:
Monitor the quality of delivery from third-party vendors.Tool Optimization:
Optimize project management tools, templates, and guidelines to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to drive continuous optimization.Metric Tracking:
Track ticket turnaround times, trends, and types of tickets to identify areas for improvement.Reporting:
Create a dashboard for bug components and maintain the Team Site.Process Implementation:
Contribute to the implementation of process improvement recommendations as available.Experience:
3-5 years of B2B marketing operations experience, with a proven ability to track, prioritize, and optimize marketing change requests while effectively communicating with stakeholders.Experienced building and owning reporting, pivot tables, strong with Sheets, Google Workspace, flowcharts, provides aggregate data snapshot.Strong organizational, detail orientation and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Location: 100% remote, but must live in or near the West Coast for Pacific Time hours.Duration: EOY to start with high potential of annual extensions.Compensation: $60-75/hour DOE.
