Join our client's procurement team as a Senior Manager for Marketing Services. This 6+ months position entails leading strategic sourcing, vendor management, and continuous improvement within marketing, media, and communication agencies, as well as strategy & insights and market research categories.
Compensation:
$30.00 - $38.00 / HR
Location: Broomfield or White Plains (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office)
Responsibilities as the Senior Manager include:
Proactively developing and implementing sourcing strategies in collaboration with key Marketing stakeholders
Assessing current and future business needs, conducting market and benchmarking studies
Providing recommendations to executive-level management and delivering presentations on strategic buying opportunities
Identifying sources of supply for marketing services, challenging spend owners on vendor selection, and driving vendor consolidation where appropriate
Developing and managing Request for Proposals (RFPs) or Request for Information (RFIs)
Negotiating and drafting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Statements of Work (SOW) in coordination with Legal
Building strong connections with vendors and fostering collaborative quality, cost, and service innovations
Managing vendors’ qualification and performance, establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Tracking financial performance of each spend subcategory and defining budgetary impacts
Identifying continuous process improvements and maintaining awareness of the latest buying techniques and tools
Qualifications for the Senior Manager include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Finance; Master’s degree a plus
Minimum of 7 years’ procurement/sourcing experience, including marketing-related sourcing
CPG experience preferred
Strategic sourcing expertise in identifying opportunitiesperforming/reviewing spend analysis, and developing sourcing strategy
Project management, development of RFX documents, contract negotiation, and management skills
Supplier benchmarking and contract compliance experience
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and develop key stakeholder relationships
Experience in team management and coaching
