We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer with a heart for creation science ministry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing print and digital materials. Attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Adobe software are a must. Illustration skills are a plus. You will closely collaborate with the Sr. Design Manager and Sr. Publishing Manager to develop impactful resources for ICR, including books, magazines, devotionals, brochures and pamphlets, news articles, children’s resources, and other print and digital publications.Create visually engaging and compelling print and digital designs, including promotional materials for events, book layouts, book covers, typography, and company branding.Collaborate closely with the Sr. Design Manager and Sr. Publishing Manager to develop resources that align with the mission and goals of ICR.Ensure a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of design, including layout, color, typography, and imagery.Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint) to create, edit, and enhance designs.Follow brand guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all materials.Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to understand project requirements and address design-related queries.Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques, and integrate them into your work under the guidance of the Sr. Design Manager.Provide creative input and support in collaboration with the Sr. Design Manager and other team members on projects as needed.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of design assets.Maintain organized design files and assets, adhering to company standards and best practices.Provide support for Communications team projects.Other duties as required.Requirements
Hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (flexibility available – will discuss)Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related fieldProven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your workA heart for Christian ministry and a passion for creating designs that support and promote a mission-driven organizationProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)High attention to detail and a keen eye for layout, color, typography, and imageryExcellent and timely communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and other staff membersAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesFlexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentKnowledge of industry best practices and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest design trends and techniques.Detail-oriented, self-starter, strong interpersonal skills, team player, able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAgreement with ICR’s core principles (ICR.org/tenets) and mission (ICR.org/who-we-are)Additional Preferred Abilities
