Summary
The Senior Manager, Social Media will be a highly motivated and creative social & community expert that seeks to help consumers discover and connect with the Zevia brand and beverages. The right candidate will be entrepreneurial, unafraid to take creative risks, and be as passionate about social media, storytelling, and strategic community building as we are.
Reporting to the VP Brand Marketing, this role requires a social media expert who can drive strategy, lead internal and external social resources, and educate a broader organization on what "great" looks like across social.
If Digital moves fast, social moves faster. What is a brat summer? Are carousels in again? We need someone on our team who can answer these questions (and more) to help us keep up with the pace of change that's happening on platforms and in culture, and bring that relevance to the work and our brand.

Build and implement strategy for Zevia's flagship social handles across all social media platforms, but focused the most on TikTok and InstagramBring to life our voice, tone and identity and develop a consumer-first and platform-bespoke "reason to follow" across all @zevia accountsInnovate how we use social media to drive business outcomes, build our communities, and drive brand awareness and advocacyBuild and oversee a team that is best in class in terms of content, production, publishing and community managementOwn external partner relations for social, including creators and agenciesReview and provide feedback on preliminary and final concepts, graphics, music, rough cuts and final versions of creative content that may need to be developed in app and off appEnsure all cross functional stakeholders are supported with clear ways of working and best practicesEvaluate social platforms, tools, and services against business goals and deliver formalized reports that are actionable and timeboundIdentify content that appeals to Zevia consumers and followers of Zevia's creators as inspiration for original content developmentMeasure social media KPIs monthly, quarterly, and yearlyBuild and manage an annual social budgetAbout You
The ideal candidate will:
Be experimental with content; take risks with what you're creating; and be original. Can turn one-off hits into successful repeatable formats.Leveraging trends are important to stay relevant, but focusing on original content formats will be key to successCreate content natively in app, with a hook, point of view, and personality, using creative approaches to format, structure and presentation of contentHighly collaborative - you're not afraid to lead or follow and believe in the power of "showing" your workBe well-versed in cultivating an organic relationship with followers through savvy and meaningful community managementHave excitement and never-ending curiosity surrounding the future of social storytellingLeverage sound strategy, data, and best-in-class creative to build upon intuitionBe comfortable turning data into insights, and insights into strategyWork collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure that they are informed of and aligned to our social strategyProvide constructive guidance at all stages of the creative processBuild strong relationships and work across varied internal cross-functional teamsBe comfortable and adept at communicating with all levels of the organizationRequired Education and Experience:
6+ years experience, including time as a creator/editor within social media for brandsPrevious supervisory experience is preferred.CPG experience is a plusExperience in content distribution channels including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedInExcellent social copywriting skills with a gen-z lensExperience creating social media content natively in-app (TikToks, Reels, Stories, Feed Content, and Carousels)Knowledge of what works across various social platformsExperience with social analytics platformsExperience working on social teams that had to launch and grow channels from scratch is a plusWorking knowledge of the paid media spaceExperience working on early stage social teams is a plusExperience working with executives, creators, freelancers, and agenciesEnthusiasm for what we are building at ZeviaSupervisory Responsibility

Salary Description
$130,000 - $150,000 Annually + Bonus + Equity
