In this position, you will create Instagram reels, stories, and highlights while managing social communities (e.g., following key influencers and industry leaders, responding to comments, etc.). You will also manage LinkedIn alumni group access to connect followers to relevant career services; field requests in a timely manner; support and share relevant content from SCAD alumni and employer accounts with a focus on SCAD industry connections, jobs, and alumni recognition; and share alumni and student accolades on Instagram and in newsletters, particularly those featuring well-known companies, high-profile awards, and news stories in major publications. Among other duties, you will also recommend strategies to cross-promote socials with newsletters and other digital media.
The ideal candidate must be able to leverage social media and paid promotions to target student and alumni populations in ways that increase awareness and participation in SCAD events and programs. The candidate should be capable of measuring social media outcomes in terms of engagement and reach and be comfortable driving on a very limited basis for industry travel or when hosting alumni and industry guests.
Minimum Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in social strategy, advertising, graphic design, or related field•Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional work ethic to meet expectations and deadlines•Ability to prioritize and manage projects efficiently with experience working within an innovative, fast-paced, and professional environment.•Advanced experience using Canva, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Knowledge of SCAD departments and communication channelsPreferred Qualifications:

Work Hours:
The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
