What does a Studio Resource Specialist do at Hogarth?
The Studio Resource Specialist proactively supports the management of resources across all the creative business in Hogarth with a focus on Post Production. They work closely with the Global Studio Capability Integration Director, Studio Resource Director, Executive Producers, Studio Producers, Regional Resource Managers, and Hogarth leadership to be the liaison between the client needs and the studio resources. The Studio Resource Specialist will coordinate with Studio Producers and Regional Resource Managers to identify and secure the right talent for each job that comes through the Detroit studio.

You will work closely with the Detroit team and the North American regional offices (New York, Chicago, Toronto).
Requirements
- Act as a point of contact for studio resources coordinating with Global Studio Capability Integration Director, Studio Resource Director, Executive Producers, Studio Producers, Global Head of Design, regional and global studio teams and clients as needed
- Coordinate with all agency partners and freelance/contract support to help identify and secure the right talent for each job that comes through the studio
- Effectively collaborate with others in the Post Production and Multi-Channel Design process
- Delegate resources and oversee the progress of projects to ensure Hogarth is meeting creative and business objectives
- Provide onsite studio support assisting with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Evaluate the skills, availability, and workload of team members, identifying potential gaps, and developing resource plans to optimize productivity and improve current operational processes
- Build and maintain a robust freelance/contract network of resources to support the ebb and flow of work coming into the studio, tapping into global resources as needed
- Onboard new freelancers, vendors, and partner resources
- Facilitate documentation completion and approval for prospective resources
- Manage existing freelancers and vendors for extensions and job assignments
- Daily communication with the studio team to check in on workload, providing support and ensuring staff and freelance resources as needed
- Lead Daily Stand-Up and Weekly Forecast meetings for the Detroit Studio, working in tandem with our NA regional offices (New York, Chicago, Toronto, Cincinnati)
- Identify bottlenecks, find creative solutions, and make informed decisions to overcome obstacles and keep operations on track
- Input key information in our resourcing tool to make resourcing more efficient, including researching, training and implementing new tools where necessary
- Manage resource team calendars
- Identify unique training resources, approaches, talent, trends, and present capabilities to the team
- Attend client and studio project briefings and milestone meetings as needed
- Shift and balance priorities based on the overall volume of work as necessary
- This role is focused on Post Production, however, will also be required to back up Studio Resource Director on Multi-Channel Design when needed
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of creative process and tools such as production workflows and design or development tools
- Ability to speak and understand the language of design and content creation as it relates to understanding a project and communicating with the team

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in field of Design, Creative, Video, Fine Arts or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in post production, project management experience a plus
We have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for an average of 4 days per week for most people.
