What we are looking for
Commercial Interior Designer or Architect with
6-12 years of experience , ideally with experience in workplace design, although other specialties will be consideredMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or ArchitectureExhibits strong design skills but also a solid technical sophisticationAbility to contribute to AND lead a team through the conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documents, specifications, construction administration, and FF&E phasesIs self-starting, energetic, and creativeExcellent Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skillsAbility to work with the Director to develop strong design concepts and accurately document them in design presentations and construction documents.Ability to mentor and lead the design process with more junior designersExperience with space planning, FF&E specifications, material selections, codes, and coordination with consultantsExperience with the construction administration processExcellent 3D graphic rendering skillsFluent in written and spoken EnglishValid work permit (USA)This position is for our
Washington, DC
office only. 100% remote candidates will not be considered.Project travel may be required.
