Responsibilities Develop and Implement strategies to support nationwide marketing and sales efforts for products and services. Manage the GPO Customer Service marketing and sales program. Create and execute email marketing campaigns. Organize and oversee customer webinars, invitation creation, topic selection, scheduling, RSVP management, evaluating performance, and post event reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for the Supervisory Sales and Marketing Specialist, PG -1101-13, you must reflect one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the PG-12 pay band in the federal service which includes the folowing: Specialized experience includes Experience with three or more of the following 1.) Creating and implementing marketing plans that promote Agency/company products and services. 2.) Create and execute customer surveys, including conducting research to identify new customers. 3.) Measure the outcomes of marketing programs against KPIs and adjusting future strategies based on performance. 4.) Creates and implements online and in-person customer educational training events, including representing your organization at tradeshows and various events. 5.) Develops marketing materials and literature such as brochures, pamphlets, and more to promote products and services. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Additional Information This position is located in the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO), This position serves as the supervisor reporting to the Chief of Sales and Support Services, managing sales and marketing programs, and business communications strategies for the Customer Services Business Unit. As the Supervisory Sales and Marketing Specialist, this position is responsible for managing the development and implementation of strategies to support nationwide marketing and sales efforts for all of the products and services offered by GPOs Customer Services Business Unit, provides direct supervision and training of the GPO National Account Manager (NAM) Team and other Customer Services Marketing Specialists and coordinates marketing and sales efforts with other GPO Business Units as needed.
