News10 ABC in Albany, New York is hiring a full-time Technical Media Operator. The primary responsibilities include:
- Newscast Directing
- Newscast Audio Operator
- Media Center Operator
- Master Control Operator
Responsibilities:
- Operate studio and field cameras for live and taped events, composing and framing shots with technical precision.
- Adjust camera settings such as focus, exposure, and lighting as directed.
- Operate audio equipment for broadcasts.
- Use editing systems, video switching, and digital effects to produce final content.
- Coordinate with directors and staff during production.
- Assist with set decoration, props, and graphics during broadcasts.
- Maintain and operate sound and video equipment, including digital media conversions.
- Provide support for digital media productions and outside facilities as needed.
Requirements & Skills:
- Degree in Communication or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in television, film, or post-production is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
