We're a think tank-style incubator focused on building brand awareness and increasing client revenues via a healthy mix of social media management, media relations, influencer relations, big picture consultation, community engagement, curated programing and content creation.With a client roster that includes both large and small businesses, ranging from Berg Hospitality Group and River Oaks Shopping Center to Zadok Jewelers and Kirby Ice House, Public Content is a respected leader in the hospitality, food & beverage, real estate, retail, fashion, arts & entertainment and innovation spaces.Under general direction of the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will implement and execute marketing tactics for a variety of Integrated Marketing clients to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.This person will also assist in coordinate of client events and programming. Some nights and weekends will occasionally be required.Responsibilities include:+Assist the marketing team and collaborate with other departments with the development of comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance client’s brand visibility and drive growth+Manage marketing initiatives and tactics which may include website management, email marketing, newsletters, advertising, collateral development, partnerships, promotions and events+Assist in coordinating marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries and ordering marketing collateral and promotional materials+Produce and execute newsletters and email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, photo sourcing, scheduling, testing and database management+Coordinate with creative team to develop marketing materials and graphics+Collaborate with and manage third-party vendors as needed to ensure alignment with marketing goals and objectives.+Stay abreast of new activities and developments in respective client industries+Manage budgets, process invoices and track expenses+ Conduct market research and gather critical information to identify trends, opportunities and competitor activities+ Track costs and create reports+ Assist with event concepting and ideation+ Assist with managing events from start to finish+Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications needed:+Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field+1-3 years of paid experience in marketing+Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail+Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills+ Basic understanding of project management software (ex. Basecamp)+Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing+Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines+Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reportsSeniority level
