Reporting to the Director of Operations, the
Marketing Coordinator
will join a marketing team of graphic and marketing professionals and supporting brokers with design marketing, digital marketing, signage, and internal communications. The ideal candidate is technologically savvy, design-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day aspect of all email marketing initiatives, including the creation of emails, list management, scheduling, segmentation, A/B testing, and reportingOwn the marketing automation platform, Buildout, by managing users, training, and ensuring listings are SEO-optimizedSupport the brokerage team with a variety of business needs including the preparation of marketing materialsCreate and maintain the content of websites across different platforms including Foleon and WixMaintenance of our regional websiteManage signage requests from design to installation, as well as vendor relationshipsCreate engaging experiences on a digital content creation platform (Foleon)Provide reception coverage (1.5 hours/day) and as neededParticipate in the development and implementation of internal communications and eventsSupport research in the production of reportsWork within and help to maintain established brand guidelinesExercise judgment and make decisions to promote smooth workflow and ensure demands are met.Work efficiently independently and as part of a teamOther duties as assigned by Senior Marketing ManagerQualifications:
1-3 years of relevant work experienceProficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator with a good sense of designAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)Keen interest in staying proficient with technologyWorking knowledge of email marketing campaigns (understanding of CASL is a big plus)Experience updating content on websites (understanding of SEO best practices and Google Analytics is a plus)Strong written and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and uncanny attention to detailAbility to work well under pressure, juggle tasks and work efficiently against tight deadlines without compromising qualityExpectationsA great team member - humble, curious, and empatheticCourteous interaction and clear communication with all members of Avison YoungAlways demonstrate self-improvementIndividual commitment to be punctual, reliable, thorough, productive and professionalWillingness to learn and take on responsibilities as needed
