Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.Summary:As a Sr. UX Designer at Self Esteem Brands for our Anytime Fitness Member App and Coaching Dashboard, you will be working hand in hand with our Product Managers as a strategic thought partner shaping the global experience for these brands. This means that you will be actively involved in the product development process from the early stages of conceptualization to the final release. You will be responsible for bringing the user’s (guests, members, staff) perspective to the table and ensuring that the product is designed with the user’s needs in mind. This includes conducting user research, creating user personas and scenarios, conducting usability testing, and driving our team’s design process forward.Overall, this role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about design and user experience and has a proven track record of designing exceptional products and thought leadership in design. We would love to hear from you if you have the skills and experience to excel in this role.Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)Developing novel solutions to complicated design problemsCrafting detailed interaction and pixel specificationsPreparing assets for use on a variety of platformsPresenting to other designers and executivesMaintaining up-to-date documentation and design filesEnsuring design consistency across platforms and productsCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product marketing, and executive sponsorsUnderstanding and aligning with the brand’s high standards and design aestheticLeading user research projectsContributing to new UX process development processesContributing to strategic UX operations projectsStrengths:Portfolio of designs demonstrating work across mobile and web (Kiosk, operational systems, and physical experiences are a plus)Deep systems thinker, able to optimize sophisticated information architectureRigorous attention to detailEnthusiasm for an iterative design process inspired by group critiqueEmpathy driven and experienced in the design thinking processAble to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and prototypesFlexible and comfortable using artifacts to help their team shape ambiguity into directionExpertise in documenting interaction details, visual design specifications, building design systems and QA of the implemented productHighly skilled in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and other design toolsExperience building and modifying HTML and CSSDeep passion for design process, tools, and techniques, and a proven ability to push their team design practices and capabilities forwardStrong communication and relationship building skillsOperates well in a flexible, agile processBackground:6+ years of work experience with a focus on product design for mobile and desktopBFA, BA, MA, or MS in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceWhat’s in it for you:Medical, Dental and Vision CoverageUnlimited Time off & Fridays off Memorial Day to Labor DayPlease let us know you found this position on DesignX Job Board as a way to support us so we can keep fostering this community.
