EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Develops and manages content across various digital and traditional marketing channels, including, but not limited to, website content, social media, press releases, email campaigns, and other print materials. Ensures brand consistency while designing and executing marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.
Oversee creative requests, updates, and edits, to ensure timely execution of deadlines. The role collaborates with internal teams to support events, promotions, and brand initiatives. Understands, updates, and follows established marketing and brand guidelines.
Strong editorial and analytical skills are required for creating, editing, proofreading, and enhancing content quality. The role involves compiling information, handling correspondence, and ensuring messaging aligns with organizational standards.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
- Knowledge of applicable credit union rules, ordinances, codes, regulations, administrative orders, case law and other governing rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of the UniWyo FCU policies and procedures.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy and Anti-Money Laundering Acts is required.
- Knowledge of the principles of file and records management.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, theories, and practices.
- Skill in reading, understanding, interpreting and applying relevant city, county, state and Federal statutes, rules, ordinances, codes, regulations, administrative orders, case law and other governing rules and regulations.
- Skill in positive interpersonal communication.
- Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
- Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments.
- Skill in assessing, analyzing, identifying and implementing solutions to complex problems.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other UniWyo FCU employees, representatives from other credit unions, the news media, general public and/or others having business with UniWyo FCU.
- Skill in operating a computer utilizing a variety of software and operating systems/applications.
- Skill in using Adobe Creative Suite to design, develop and publish marketing material
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An associate’s degree in marketing, communication, graphic design, business, finance, accounting or closely related field AND two (2) years of relevant marketing, advertising, media, promotions, sales or closely related experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May be required to lift and/or carry heavy, bulky supplies, materials and/or other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to potential physical harm and infectious diseases.
- May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule.
- May require occasional travel.
