Key responsibilities:
Manage and lead in-house social media team
Works with the Founder and the VP of Marketing on the larger picture initiatives and social media direction.
Responsible for creating strategy for the brands’ social media presence across various social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest
Works with Social Media Manager on social planning and execution of all posts as well as creative paid social ads
Oversee influencer strategy including contract negotiations and budgeting.
Oversee content development, distribution, and community management across all major social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest
Creates actionable plans to grow and maintain followers on all social platforms.
Oversee social performance, KPI, Reporting, etc
Analyzes social data and create actionable strategies and plans.
Increases visibility of brand and develops strategies to drive traffic from our social platforms to our website.
Oversee in house team to build an authoritative brand with a loyal online community
Agency Management
Working under the direction of the VP of marketing, manage external agencies to assist in Social Media activities. Support decisions with ROI based analysis and KPI tracking.
Work in collaboration with other team members and agency partners to ensure initiatives have support and alignment across all channels
Works with Director of Marketing & Communications in partnership with China marketing agency on management of owned social channels and influencer gifting efforts in China
Stays on the cutting edge of industry trends, new platforms, and best practices and pushes boundaries of new ways to story tell on social.
Requirements
10-12 years of experience in successfully managing/launching social media programs
Experience building and leading teams
Proven background in strategic planning within social and digital space and developing successful campaigns that have gained and maintained organic (versus paid for Followers) growth with proven sales results
Strong and proven business acumen
Expertise in social data analysis and measuring KPIs impactful to the business
Strong experience reporting ROI to senior leadership
Analytical skill and the ability to use digital tools to find actionable insights through data
A collaborative nature with finesse in developing relationships cross-functionally
Global experience is required
This role is onsite in Vernon - 1 day work from home.
Salary:
Up to 150k DOE
