Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.The Vice President, Marketing Operations will be responsible for driving end-to-end process and project management efficiency and effectiveness across the Marketing organization. He/She will lead a team responsible for developing and managing workflow processes/tools, project governance and best practices, standard policies/procedures, vendor management, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate for this role will be a collaborative leader and strategic thinker who is able to work cross-functionally and drive positive change. A background in a similar leadership position within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is essential, along with the ability to foster a culture of accountability, process excellence and continuous improvement.This role will be based in Hartford, CT.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead operational efficiency and effectiveness efforts across Marketing, focusing on the critical aspects of change management, scalability, best practices and continuous improvementLead oversight of the portfolio of Marketing strategic initiatives, and partner with Marketing leadership to drive the planning and prioritization processes and ensure timely deliveryOversee martech utilization and advancement efforts, including evaluation and adoption of new technologies and development of the intermediate and long-term roadmapDrive Marketing process rationalization and documentation effortsSupport the development of a performance tracking framework (scorecards, reporting) for Marketing leadershipOversee the budget and expense management processes for Marketing, including annual planning; monthly and quarterly analysis of expense actuals vs budget, quarterly reforecasting and allocationsBuild and maintain strong relationships across the Marketing leadership teamLead one or more strategic initiatives at the request of the CMO, facilitating cross-functional teams and presentations for senior managementQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 10+ years of experience a team responsible for Marketing operations, business transformation and/or consultingExperience driving multiple priorities and complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlinesExcellent communication and influencing skillsDemonstrated experience building strong relationships internally and externally to efficiently drive vision, strategy, initiatives and goalsComfortable navigating ambiguous business problems and nascent opportunity spaces leveraging a structured problem-solving approachKnowledgeable about the marketing technology landscape and emerging capabilitiesRole may require travel for business support of certain initiatives
