JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Job Description: The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity in the Division of Student Affairs at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill part-time News, Marketing, and Publication student staff positions. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Graphic designDeveloping/editing a variety of promotional materialsCreating/editing the weekly Rainbow Newsletter.Maintaining advertising, and creating posts for and maintaining social media accountsOther general office responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparing workshop materialsAssisting with general office support such as answering phone calls, replying to emails, and greeting visitors in a positive and professional mannerAttending staff meetingsStaffing informational tablesAssist in planning, coordination, and staffing of Signature Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity events (i.e., Pride Month, Transgender Awareness Month, LGBTQ History Month, etc.)Other duties as assigned
These positions are part-time positions without benefits. Interested students must submit a resume and cover letter as part of a complete application. Hours for each position will vary between 10-15 hours per week. Applications will be accepted until July 19th, 2024.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
