Overview
- Seeking a skilled engineer to support VC and corporate events. Focus on two main areas: infrastructure and VC operations.
- Manage several rooms in Austin, including around 80 rooms in San Jose. Will manage 50 to 80 calls per month.
- Conduct room checks to ensure equipment and infrastructure are functioning properly, with no errors or issues. Perform sound checks, VC, and audio checks.
Event Support:
- Support events for VP and above. Meet with stakeholders to ensure all content and planning are done correctly.
- Provide support during meetings, whether via Zoom, in-person, etc. Ensure the quality and support of calls and events.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Optimize systems (primarily uses Zoom along with MS Teams). Perform firewall updates, system checks, and ensure performance reliability. Provide end-user training on collaboration tools.
HubTV Management:
- Download and upload videos to HubTV, where all videos are hosted.
Must Haves:
- 3 to 5 yrs experience
- Skilled engineer experience of Zoom technologies, MS Teams, Domtoz (service owner for Zoom - Have Zoom rooms and Zoom collaboration tools as well)
- Strong AV troubleshooting and technical support (Conference room set up Codex, Meet and Poly)
- AV System - Crestron, Extron
- Live Event production experience (broadcasting, streaming, lighting, or staging)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is a plus
