You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with the exception of reporting to the Northwest Office Building on board meeting weeks (every two to three weeks) and as operational needs dictate. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg.Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees may be negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSNine years of professional experience performing purchasing, marketing, or merchandising functions that includes three years of program and policy planning and development experience and four years of supervisory experience, and a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, or closely related field;
orNine years of professional experience performing purchasing, marketing, or merchandising functions that includes three years of program and policy planning and development experience and four years of supervisory experience, and four years of para-professional experience in marketing, merchandising, or closely related field;
orAn equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional program and policy planning and development experience and four years of professional supervisory experience.
Additional Requirements:You must have five years of executive leadership experience managing a Merchandise purchasing and marketing organization.You must have five years of experience with product purchasing.You must have five years of experience with product marketing, organizational branding, and marketing design.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Preferred Qualifications (not required):Strong financial and analytical skillsProficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong communication skillsCreative problem solver and strategic thinkingLeadership abilityLegal Requirements:You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
