We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join a fast-moving team in the apparel industry. In this role, you'll be the linchpin between development and production-overseeing compliance processes, managing testing and approvals, and ensuring our apparel meets regulatory, quality, and sustainability benchmarks every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Knowledge:Stay updated on evolving regulations and industry standards related to apparel market standards.
• Compliance Monitoring:Review and monitor compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, investigations, TOPs, and CAPAs to ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and quality performance standards.
• Auditing:Review audits to identify potential compliance/quality gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigation:Investigate potential compliance issues or violations.
• Collaboration:Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Operations) to ensure compliance across the organization.
• Communication:Communicate compliance information and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Problem Solving:Identify and resolve compliance issues in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to enhance compliance programs and processes.
• Support and Assist:Project management related to compliance initiatives, ensuring timely completion of objectives.

Key Skills:

• Regulatory Knowledge:Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and apparel industry standards.
• Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and assess compliance risks; proficiency in Excel tools (pivot tables, v-lookup, X-lookup, power query); Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Communication Skills:Ability to effectively communicate compliance information to various audiences.
• Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve compliance issues.
• Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Attention to Detail:Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all activities.
• Interpersonal Skills:Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Auditing Skills:Conduct internal audits and identify compliance gaps.

Work Location:Hybrid remote in Culver City, CA 90232 (3 days on-site)
Salary: up to $80K annually
