We are adding an
Email Marketing Specialist
to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the NFPA email channel to ensure campaign objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe, meet our quality standards and are compliant with association guidelines. The Email Marketing Specialist collaborates with team members and internal clients to make campaign recommendations to improve performance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day management, scheduling and execution of the NFPA email program. Build/manage all list email campaigns, populating pre-defined templates with supplied creative using Pardot's WYSIWYG html editor. Oversee email deployment, ensuring campaigns are in line with best practice and compliant with Association guidelines. Own the email quality assurance process from proofing to test rendering across multiple email clients, ISPs (Outlook, Google, Hotmail, etc.) and devices using Litmus service. Monitor NFPA's email deliverability and sending reputation using Validity (BriteVerify) service and proactively flag issues and identify corrective actions to be taken. Manage list uploads to Pardot from external systems, from running addresses through our verification service (BriteVerify) to mitigate risk, preparing files for import, and reviewing and resolving sync errors. Manage budget and relationship with email vendors (Litmus, BriteVerify, and Movable Ink). Provide top-notch customer service to internal clients of the email channel, communicating campaign status and results. Produce ad hoc campaign reports upon request. Responsible for evaluating, analyzing and optimizing in-flight campaign performance, by identifying actionable opportunities and making recommendations for improvement. Under the direction of team members, responsible for executing a variety of testing schemes (i.e. subject line, CTA, imagery, copy, personalization). Requirements
3+ years of experience managing a high-volume email program Extensive know-how when it comes to email marketing systems (Pardot experience a plus), processes and compliance issues. Strong ability to read html and troubleshoot styling issues. Excellent time management skills: ability to successfully manage several tasks while focusing efforts on the highest priorities. Working knowledge of acquisition, retention, reactivation efforts, lead generation and segmentation. Well versed in email marketing tools, such as: Litmus, Validity, BriteVerify, Movable Ink, HTML editors and content calendar systems. Acute and accurate attention to detail. Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Strong project planning and organizational skills, strong communication skills both verbal and written, and a strong focus on timelines and deliverables.
