Location: Corporate Office - Arcadia, California, Hybrid 2-days in-office

About the Role:
The Social Media Associate is responsible for developing original content, suggesting creative ways to promote the brand, and maintaining a strong online presence through social media accounts that align with the company’s marketing plans and strategies. The Social Media Associate assists in the development of marketing plans and strategies for the company as well as collecting and interpreting marketing analytics. The Social Media Associate is expected to help identify marketing trends and provide administrative support to the marketing team.
Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
Develop and curate creative content across social media platforms and email marketing programs, ensuring alignment with company initiatives and brand voice
Collaborate with supervisor and creative lead on content creation and maintain a robust online calendar, utilizing web traffic and engagement metrics to optimize posting schedules
Forge and nurture relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors, supporting the marketing team in executing campaigns, event promotions, and content production on brand, on time, on budget and in compliance with legal requirements
Research industry trends on creative content and data/analytics and proactively ideate and apply learnings to brand's social campaigns, content and reporting
Manage social media accounts and community engagement with prompt and on brand responses to inquiries and comments marketing database, employing various digital marketing software tools to enhance online content and campaigns
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the marketing team and special projects as requested

Job Requirements:
Read, understand, and follow the Employee Handbook and all company policies and procedures
Able to produce and work the following software: Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point
Able to maintain the company’s social media platforms and marketing database: Instagram, Facebook, etc.
Able to produce and work the following design software and technologies: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
Proficiency using website analytics tools: Google Analytics, etc.
Has a keen eye for aesthetics, details, and social media trends
Able to create content and provide a portfolio of work: photography, other social channel-specific media
Strong understanding of the “Din Tai Fung” company
Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated and able to adapt to change
Able to effectively and professionally communicate with employees, managers, upper management, guests, and hospitality professionals
Able to write in a legible fashion simple correspondence
Proper dress policy at all times
Positive and Professional Attitude
