Job Description
SUMMARY

Responsible for leading and managing the marketing team, this position will develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with corporate growth goals. Hoshizaki's in-house marketing team spans graphic and multi-media design, tradeshows and events, digital/web design, email marketing, communications, and social media, while working cross functionally from product development to launch and everything in between.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
  • Market Share
    Monitor the company's share of the market compared to competitors, demonstrating the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

  • Budget: Monitor the Marketing budget across activities while not exceeding.
  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
    Via various customer surveys, track the long-term value of customers to assess the impact of marketing and product management on customer retention and loyalty.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Contributes to the development of marketing strategies for products and market segments that align with the organization's vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
  • Plans, implements and evaluates the strategy for marketing the organization's products to various distribution channels (i.e., wholesalers, retailers, distributors, reps).
  • Creates marketing campaigns that inform the target market of the merits of purchasing its products and services including trade exhibitions, conferences, webinars, print and digital collateral, social media, etc.
  • Plans, develops, and controls branding strategy and programs for multiple lines of products.
  • Directs promotional programs and product launch campaigns.
  • Selects and manages ongoing relationships with external vendors and agencies (printers, event organizers, graphic designers, advertising agencies, etc.).
  • Oversees the designs and maintenance of the company's websites to promote the organization's products
  • Manages external sales and marketing communication, as well as all sales enablement content and material.
  • Exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

The minimum education and experience required to successfully perform the essential functions. Preferred requirements can also be included in this section.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field.
  • Five to 10 years of marketing experience plus 2-5 years leading a marketing team preferred
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of market research, planning and execution methods/practices
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure and prioritize projects appropriately
  • Experience managing agency relationships
  • Event management-experience coordinating trade shows and related marketing collateral
  • Prior experience analyzing consumer habits, competitor pricing, and advertising performance
  • Ability to lead and development employees
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS
Non-Manufacturing:
  • Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate
  • Requires standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift boxes/materials weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Requires telephone work and/or computer work, as well as interactions with other employees and customers
  • Ability to read, write, listen, and communicate effectively
